    Munna (born as Kenny Simon on May 1) is an Indian film actor, who has notably appeared in Tamil films. He has acted in Gaurisankaram, Silandhi, Kandein Kadhalai and Raavanan.[1]

    Early life

    Munna was born as Kenny Simon in Chennai. His family hails from Agamally in Cochin, Kerala. He completed his Physiotherapy at Little Flower Hospital. After practising for one year in Chennai, he shifted his attention towards acting.

    Career

    Despite being born into a filmi family, he initially didn't want to pursue acting. When he entered the Tamil film industry, he renamed himself as Ashwin. Later he considered the name to be unlucky & changed it to his pet name Munna.
